At J. Hinkle Consulting, LLC, we specialize in aiding homeowners with self-contracted builds and financial planning for lenders. Our goal? To empower clients by managing expectations and facilitating the construction journey efficiently.
Upon receiving an inquiry from a potential Owner-Builder, we start the process of setting up a meeting to discuss scope of work and expectations. After determining if we are a good fit, the fun begins. We get to partner to find the perfect set of plans and the land to place it on. After the big choices are made, the details of bidding the subcontractors and getting financing approved is next. When the approvals come through, groundbreaking and work can begin. We are there every step of the way.

Founded in 2025, J. Hinkle Consulting transitioned from dream to reality. Being in the construction industry for a majority of our lives, my wife and I decided it was time to take the leap. We specialize in high quality custom home consulting to assist Owner-Builders bring their vision to life. After working from laborer, to sales, to project management, we gained a thorough understanding and respect for the construction industry. Being involved with each home is such a surreal and intimate experience to be able to deliver a home where families will flourish and grow; we are happy to be the smallest part in that vision.
